I took this picture of Millie and Percy soon after they showed up in October 2009.
Now they're active, larger kittens who move so fast it's hard to photograph them. Millie disappeared on Sunday morning and Richard called for her, left food overnight, looked for her to no avail. But hurray! She showed up at 6:30 p.m. on Monday night, no worse for wear.
And here are three of my four little darlings. Oreo on top, calico sister Cookie below, sitting beside other calico, Nutmeg. Life is good.

Cats! They love to give us heart attacks with their little "adventures", don't they? Love the photos. You and Richard have a beautiful collection of felines.
I am falling in love all over again with Millie. What a cutie...and a handful it seems!
You are definitely in heaven with all these kitties sharing your life!
Thank goodness Millie returned! Your cats are beautiful.
We have a cat, Fluffy, who routinely goes on treks in the summer. Just when I think she will never come back, she returns looking perfectly fine. Sometimes she's gone for a couple of weeks at a time. She will be 13 this summer.
Dolly-girl's son, Silvio D'Mestiere, calls pets "little tragedies waiting to happen..." He loves his dog, but is always on the lookout for trouble.
