I think the biggest problem with this cake would be - what to eat first? the heel or the toe? (Great cake! looks fabulous.)
My homeland is so sweet - I could just eat it up.

I made this cake for a friend who loves Italy, is learning Italian and is heading off there this fall. The cake itself was chocolate with a lemon filling and topped with limoncello-flavoured buttercream. Yum!
