My friend John in Oregon suggested I paint some fish. I found this lovely shaped platter and thought it was perfect for a rainbow trout. What do you think, John?
I think these are really fun--like a salmon plate (maybe a small one for salmon pâté...I guess a salmon plâté), a halibut plate, a sole plate, a crab plate--the Fisherman's Platter series. I guess for eastern Canada you could throw in some local native fishes. Oh, and how could you not have a lobster platter?
