Quilt Show

On Sunday we went to the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo Quilt Show. It's a preview of the show that'll be held at the IPM in September.


The quilts were amazing...


...and elegant.


Some were small quilts...


...real pieces of art.


This flower quilt was charming.


This star quilt was a real eye popper.


Very graphic images.


I especially loved this quilt made of award winning ribbons.

    My mother and aunt were quilters from years gone by, so I appreciate the effort and artistic ability that goes into each and every work of art.

    Okay, here I am an avid IPM follower and don't even know where it is being held this year - are we back to eastern Ontario?
