Battered but beautiful!
Moths are wonderful. I had a lovely green luna moth of our screen door for 3 days this past week. What a treat.
I'm putting away my designer sweater collection as we speak...
Well yes, it's beautiful and all that but I had an encounter with one of those when I was a kid and can never get over my fear of moths and butterflies. Weird, I know, and completely irrational.
I had one of these on my garage floor once and never knew what it was, thanks for the post.
On my way into work yesterday, I walked toward the back door and noticed this amazing cecropia moth sitting on the door jamb.
He looks like he's been around the block a few times, but isn't he a beauty?
