This is gorgeous! I'd buy it on the spot. And eat all my favourite soups from it! I think a shrimp soup would look especially good on it... but you'd have fun no matter WHAT you put on it, because while eating you can unearth the lovely motif!--Wiebke
I had a few rimmed soup bowls and loved their shape. They kind of looked like nests so it seemed a natural to paint bird's nests in them...
